This course was developed to enhance the learning and retention of pharmacology calculations for nursing students. This course is intended to reinforce your previous learning of pharmacology calculations and not intended to be your first exposure to this subject. Dimensional analysis is the method used to perform the calculations. The questions include 10 conversions and 20 calculations. This course is designed to be applicable to all the types of dose determinations that nurses are likely to encounter in clinical practice. It is designed for nursing students, but can be useful to any student or professional that performs pharmacology calculations.
This course contains 10 conversions initially interspersed with 10 calculations. The final 10 questions are calculations with increasing difficulty of the calculations. Some of the questions have videotaped answers demonstrating the dimensional analysis method of completion.
Any profession that performs pharmacology calculations
